The GRA Boss who happens to be the second highest paid public servant in Ghana coupled with juicy allowances has initiated conversation among social media users.
Rev Ammishaddai Adu Owusu-Amoah, admitted to having no contract with government at Parliaments' Public Accounts Committee meeting following his compulsory retirement. Hence new revelations were unravelled with regards to his salary and other benefits.
The enthusiasm of a large section of social media users is high because at the end of the day it is their taxpayers money that is used to finance the office of the GRA boss. Benefits enjoyed by the GRA boss include salary increases by 20% per anum, free utility bills, medical care for spouse/kids, 3 security body guards, private car plus car loans to name a few
His salary costs more than GHS 3.3 million of the taxpayers money and therefore Ghanaians feel they deserve better and further particulars from the governement at a time where most people cannot afford 3 square meals a day.
